Challenge and Approach

Phoenix Mercury is a professional women’s basketball team, a part of the WNBA. The team is located in Phoenix, Arizona, and takes pride in their city and the state in which they are located. The team’s name goes hand-in-hand with the brother NBA team, the Phoenix Suns. The current Phoenix Mercury’s logo only references the planet Mercury, but not the state or city it prides itself on. The brand refresh highlights the sunny state of Arizona.
